Since May 2009, Valencia CF has had a Education Center, making it the first soccer club in Spain to have a multidisciplinary training center.
The Valencia CF Foundation Education Center, established under the initial brand name “The Academy”, offers both online and classroom training.
Valencia CF, is one of the few soccer clubs in Spain that organizes a master’s degree in sports management through its training center; the Máster en International Sports Management, that has been developed since 2009 and has been awarded in 2017, 2018 and 2019 as the best master’s degree in sports management in Spain by the prestigious British publication SportBusiness.
During the 90th anniversary of Valencia C.F. “The Academy” inaugurated with the University of Valencia the first university course that studied the history of a soccer club, being Valencia C.F. the first soccer club to have a course valid for university credits and obtaining recognition from UEFA for it. The course consisted of three editions, the second and third were held jointly with the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
The Valencia CF Foundation Training Center also carries out training programs in various parts of the world, Sweden, France, Guatemala, Saudi Arabia, among others; it also has offices in Brazil and Colombia.

This third area is where the Valencia CF Foundation Education Center is included, which since June 11, 2015, coinciding with the VI training graduation of the center, chaired by the executive president of Valencia CF, gives a new impetus to the center, which is now called the Valencia CF Foundation Training Center, with a more diverse and improved quality educational offer, classroom, university and online, with professionals and entities of recognized prestige, also entering the field of research.
